You're gone now,
Still but ever so peaceful.
Those distant eyes,
now closed forever to this world.
I'll remember you always,
and cherish our precious memories
for a life time.
But for now, I'm letting you go,
into the hands that love you more,
until it's my turn to go,
and I get to hold you once more.
